Dame Jeanne - Decoration Vintage - Transparente - KDJ004

KDJ004

Used

This is a beautiful authentic antique globular green Demijohn, circa 1840-1890.

We can see two seams that stopped at half the bottle then continue horizontally, showing it was handblown, the air bubbles trapped within its surface attest it.

The neck has a hand serpentine applied ring circling the mouth and the lip is not smooth showing how it was broken off from the rod after being blown.
